Climate

Climate graph for Burma

The annual average temperature  ranges between 22°C to 27°C year-round, in a heatwave the temp can get up to 40°C. The beginning of June is the time when all the heavy rain comes due to the monsoon season.

The best times to go and visit Burma is between Nov and Feb. During these months it has the least rain or it isnt that hot. March to May is the time when the intense heat comes and brings heat waves to the country. The southwest monsoon starts usually at mid-May and mid-June, this is when all the rain comes and sometimes will go though all the way to October, peaking from July to Sep.

There are 3 seasons in Burma, not like Summer/Winter but more like Rainy/Cold/Hot.

Rainy season: Burma receives tropical monsoon weather which can make it rain for 2-3 days straight without stopping but that doesnt happen all the time. The streets will become muddy and that makes it really hard to try and enjoy a day at the park or a zoo.

Cold season: Starts at oct and ends in March. This would be the good time to go to Burma since its not so hot and its not cold either. In this season even though it may seem like it is cold it really isnt cold enough to start using heaters and wear heavy, hot sweaters since the weather is just the right temp to advoid all that.

Hot season: This is the season that you shold advoid going to Burma in, since it can get up to 40°C and can also have heat waves which can make you want to use air conditioner instead of heaters.
